The aim of the Health Center is to provide a base for local activities for promoting
and protecting the health of our citizens.
This facility provides a consistent health service system to assure the health
of mothers, children, and adults, as well as preventive vaccinations and other
activities for promoting good health. This facility also aims to improve our knowledge
of diseases and to prevent diseases.

Bousai-no-oka Park is an integrated park with an area of 9.4 ha, which also serves
as the "disaster park," that is, the evacuation area for Atsugi. Approximately
20,000 people could be evacuated to this park in the event of a disaster occurring.
The park includes a variety of facilities such as a playground for children, playground
equipment, and a pond in which children can play. Also, the park has facilities
and equipment for coping with disasters, including an earthquake-proof water tank
for providing drinking water, a warehouse for storing materials and equipment,
and emergency toilets.
