Separate your refuse into the categories explained below and dispose it in the
specified manner.
Atsugi collects refuse that has been separated into (1) Burnable, (2) Unburnable,
(3) Large items, and (4) Recyclable items. You are requested to classify your
refuse into these four types.

Burnable

Dispose of waste paper, kitchen garbage, wood chips, and plastics
in the specified transparent or translucent bags.
Place your bags of refuse in the specified location by 8:30 AM on the specified
day. If you are not sure of the location, ask your landlord or neighbor. |

Unburnable [Table

| Metallic materials and glass materials are collected alternatively
every week. Dispose of these unburnable items in the transparent or translucent
bags. Check the pickup day in your area on the reverse of this sheet and place
your bags of the refuse in the specified pickup location by 8:30 AM on the specified
day. |

To dispose of large items, telephone the Environment Center to
make an appointment to have your items picked up.

Furniture, household electrical appliances, and mattresses measuring 50 cm or
more in length are handled as large items.
Call the Environment Center to determine the specified pickup day. Purchase as
many self-adhesive labels as the number of items to be picked up (\500 per label).
Attach the labels to the items, and then place the items in front of your house
by 9:00 AM on the specified pickup day.
You can have up to five items picked up at any one time. If you can bring your large items to the Environment Center, you can dispose if them for \100 per item.
The Center's reception is open: 8:30 AM to 12:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM |

Recyclable items
 |
| Recyclable items such as paper, cloth, cans, glass bottles, "PET"
(plastic) bottles, and styrofoam food trays must be placed in the area for recyclable
items. For details, see "Pickup of recyclable items by area."
