Available Japanese language classes
Japanese language classes are offered by volunteers/citizens at five locations in the city. Anybody can attend these classes. Those who wish to attend are requested to come to the classes directly. Note, however, that elementary and junior high school children are excluded.
Every Monday: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, at Integrated Welfare Center
Every Thursday: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, at Integrated Welfare Center
Every Saturday: 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, at Partner Center
Every Saturday: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, at Midorigaoka Community Center
Every Sunday: 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, at Workfare Center

Get-together events
The City Office provides opportunities for cultural exchange between Japanese and non-Japanese residents. Your participation is welcomed.

・Japanese language festival
[Date] Some time in November
[Place] Partner Center
[Details] Speeches by non-Japanese residents who are learning Japanese at Japanese classes, songs from the residents' native countries, dances, etc. Everybody is welcome to attend this event.
